This is a very difficult question to answer, simply because there are several breeds and crossbreeds which can fall into the category of Staffordshire bull terriers and this can create confusion. For example Pitt Bull terriers, American Staffordshire bull terriers and English Staffordshire bull terriers are three separate breeds, but would generally not be distinguished in reports if a dog has killed a human. Then there are also many crossbreeds who would also be classified as a Staffordshire bull terrier, but would not be a pure-bred one.
