The A904 in a Jeep Wrangler should hold about nine quarts if empty. If doing filter service start with four. You do not want to over fill.

Last time I changed mine I kept track cause I could not find it in any book. Mine used about 3 1/2 quarts (US) of 75W/90W GL-5 lubricant. I prefer synthetic. My Wrangler has the AX-15 mated to the 4.0L 6 cylinder. The 4 cylinder has the AX-5 which should be similar.
