A 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ manual transmission engine can be filled with 6 quarts of fluid. Its cooling system, on the other hand, can be filled with 11 quarts fluid.
A 1991 Jeep Wrangler six cylinder holds six quarts of 10W30.
A 1992 Jeep Wrangler with the 4-cylinder takes 4 quarts, and the 6-cylinder takes 6 quarts.

Last time I changed mine I kept track cause I could not find it in any book. Mine used about 3 1/2 quarts (US) of 75W/90W GL-5 lubricant. I prefer synthetic. My Wrangler has the AX-15 mated to the 4.0L 6 cylinder. The 4 cylinder has the AX-5 which should be similar.
