1. When refilling, remove dipstick to provide adequate venting and allow oil to flow into crankcase.

2. With ENG at operating temperature, shift through all gears. Check fluid level in PARK and add fluid as needed.

3. Mazda TRANS has drain plug is on the driver's side of the case. Mit drain plug is at the center of the pan.

4. Fill to no more than 1/4 to 9/16" below fill plug hole.

5. With Dana 28: If fill hole is at centerline of axle must have lube level no higher than 1/2" below fill hole. Models with fill plug below centerline of axle must have lube level no higher than 1/8" below fill hole.
