I do not know the exact answer, but I do know that 292 slaves was considered roomy, as other slave ships were far more crowded. This number was of the British slave ship Brookes under regulated slave trade.

Easy, so they could bring more slaves over.... they didn't care if the slaves were comfortable, they cared about money and all they thought about was "more slaves means more items to sell" it was disgusting

they would pack so many of them because there was a high demand in slavery in the south. To transport many "slaves" was cheaper than it was to transport little amounts of slaves. Cheap to transport and cheap to buy.

Where slaves white or black?

Whites were used as slaves. These men, women and children are not to be confused with the indentured servants because they could only legally work for a short period of time, and you couldn't sell their children they were considered unprofitable and disposable. During certain periods of American History their were large numbers of white slaves (usually Irish and Scottish). Many of the slaves where in the west indies as early as 1627. According to 1701 records of the 25,000 slaves in Barbados 21,700 were white slaves. The related link site covers white slavery during the war.

What land did Native Americans give Americans?

The American Indians did not "Give" any of their land. It was Taken from them. Cheated from them, and the Americans Killed to get it. They were forced onto reservations and in a lot of cases murdered and forced to give up their traditions. Ask and Indian what they "Gave". The answer will be the same. All of it except for a the lil bit of lands they have in the west which are reservations...
