i don't think the number of sloth deaths caused by deforestation would be very large because they are not an endangered species, also deforestation in the amazon is beginning to be controlled although 1.5 acres of pristine rainforest is still being destroyed every second. Check out greenpeace and send some emails to the people they have on their websites to help save sloths and prevent deforestation. 300 000 people emailed nike to tell them to stop getting their leather for shoes from the amazon and it worked so try it out yourself email someone to stop them, there is nothing like bad publicity.
