Hi,
I write letters for amnesty international and they gave me the following postage rules:
Within the United States:
$0.26 - Postcards
$0.41 - Letters and Cards (up to 1 oz.)
$0.69 - Postcards
$0.69 - Airmail Letters and Cards (up to 1 oz.)
To all other destination countries:
$0.90 - Postcards
$0.90 - Airmail Letters and Cards (up to 1 oz.)
To my knowledge, any letter you send abroad is considered to be "Airmail," although that doesn't mean you use a special envelope or anything. So, when I write abroad I just use regular envelopes, paper, and stamps. From Tennessee to London you will need .90 cents worth of stamps.
3 stamps. An average stamp is $0.44 so one would need $1.32 to send a letter from London to Utah.
When mailing a letter or package you always use postage purchased in the country you are mailing from. So if you are mailing a letter from the USA to Canada, you would buy stamps at your local post office.
A whole lot

Yes, that is what you would use. The stamps need to be from the country of origin. The Universal Postal Union coordinates between countries.
It depends on where you are...If I were sending a letter from where I am....I would use 1 stamp.
It depends on where you are mailing the letter from. If from the USA, it would take two stamps. If you are not from the USA, then I would suggest going to your post office or place where you send the letters and the workers there will weigh the letter and tell you how many stamps or how much money is needed to mail your letter.
it depends what state you are in or what country you are in. EX. i live in West Vrigina it would take 9 stamps to send to Bolivia from where i am.

A two page letter would take only one stamp.
