It absolutely does glamorize teenage pregnancy. Although the show attempts to show the struggles that teen parents endure, it also makes it seem that teen pregnancy can be solved with underage marriage. When in reality, many teen mothers are unable to raise their children on their own, and are forced to give the baby up for adoption. Amy is able to keep her child because of her family's stable economic status, which is not the case for many teenage mothers. Many (if not most) of the teens on the show engage in sexual intercourse with little to no consequences. The show is titled, "The Secret Life of the American Teenage", not "The Struggles of Teen Pregnancy". Also, shows like "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom" glamorize underage mothers. They also attempt to show the mothers struggling financially. But the girls are starring in their own TV show. Can the audience really believe that they cannot pay for diapers?

I'm sure you'll be glad to hear a fair amount of them do and even the ones that end romantically give new life to themselves through the teamwork that is needed to raise a child, this is because it's no longer about climbing the social ladder or experimenting with life, because there's now a child on the way. You'll also be pleased to know that there is plenty of help out there for teenage mothers, and most boys step up to the mark and become the best dads they can be as they should do in this situation.
They should, but I've heard from many fathers who face hostile treatment in seeking it.
I believe that it is less than 1%. Very, very low.
The most common controversy on child supermodels is the fact that it is seen as wish fulfillment for their mothers, who likely never got a shot at this kind of fame. Many people think that the mothers who put their girls on stage like this don't deserve to have children.
