Answer 1

Countless number of terrorist organizations of all God religions and faiths and of all nationalities.

Answer 2

Hundreds of terrorist groups exist all over the world. Some purport to belong to religious groups. (For example: Kach and Kahane Chai claims to be Jewish, the Irish Republican Army claims to be Catholic, Al-Qaeda claims to Sunni Muslim, Hezbollah claims to be Shiite Muslim, the Tamil Tigers claimed to be Hindu, etc.) Others are strictly non-religious. (For example: the Nepalese Maoists).

The Al-Qaeda. and the Taliban are some terrorist groups. There are countless of others.

But please, I infer a lack of respect in your question to Islam. True Muslims are never terrorists but the Al-Qaeda and the Taliban are. They say that they are causing terror in the name of Islam. That is not true at all. They are just putting blame in Islam and justifying their actions by using it. Islam is not to blame: these "Islamic terrorist" groups are senseless and evil. They are terrorists and they have nothing to do with Islam.

True Muslims know that it is very wrong to terrorize. Islam only permits fighting in self defense (just like how we have martial arts programs in the U.S. and Canada). Islam also gives women a high status, and of course, they are equal to men. Islam encourages women to take education, to have jobs, to drive automobiles, and to have her own freedom.

Islam and Muslims have been in smoke and mirrors: trickery used to cover up the truth. It is indeed these terrorist groups (Al-Qaeda and Taliban) that are responsible for this and they are doing evil. Islam does not permit this and does not allow it at all. Think of it this way. The Al-Qaeda and Taliban are spreading illusions and lies about Islam and their plan is working. Many people are falling into those lies and are believing that Islam has everything to do with terrorism. Please, I urge you, do not believe in these lies. They are nothing but false. True Islam is very pure and true Muslims life as such.

Please, I ask you. Do not believe in lies about Islam and spread the message. True Islam is indeed pure but what these terrorists are doing are evil. They are practising a cult. I hope I have been of help to you.

Could the death of Osama bin Laden lead to a cry for Jihad across Muslim countries and Islamic extremists?

While it may seem like the death of Osama bin Laden could lead to a cry for jihad, the reality is that it may very well remain unheeded, as most of the extremist countries have been at war for many years and no longer have the resources to fund a jihad.

Is jihad dying for your religion?

No. Esteshhaad (إستشهاد) or martyrdom is dying in defense of Islam. As for Islamic concept of Jihad (جهاد), there are two types. As concerns the Greater Jihad, which is an introspective journey to conquer your internal demons and follow the Divine Laws more closely than previously, there should be no violence that derives from this jihad. As concerns the Lesser Jihad, this is usually in the form of warfare between Muslims and Non-Muslims or other Muslims. This jihad is almost necessarily violent, unless the actor chooses to use non-violent protest or debate as his form of jihad. Of course, many people who fight in a Lesser Jihad will die for Islam. When a person dies, he will be a Shaahed (شاهد) or martyr according to the concept of Esteshhaad. With the exception of suicide bombers, though, most "jihad-fighters" or Mujahedin (مجاهدين) do not fight with the intention of dying.
