There is no need to consume fruits and vegetables a certain amount of times per day. However, a good tip to make sure you consume enough is to have one serving with each meal.

Vegetables in general has a higher content of vitamins and minerals than do fruits. Yellow pepper for example contain four times the amount of Vitamin C than do Oranges. But still both food groups are nutritional dense which is the reason to why it's recommended to consume good amounts of them.
