Sone systems cycle up to 15 times per second.
no it is just a delay on the CPU telling the brakes to unlock in simple terms
Be pointless. The point of anti-lock brakes it to effectively "pump" the brakes for you.
Anti lock brakes contain a spin sensor in each wheel. When the sensor detects that brakes are still applied and the wheels are skidding a valve opens and lowers the brake pad pressure until wheel spin is detected again. This process is repeated until the car comes to a halt in the shortest distance. The repetition rate of valve operation can be up to 30 times a second.
Yes, the '92 Saturns were available with anti-lock brakes.
YES - it has 4 wheel anti - lock brakes
The Anti-Lock brakes pulsate so the brakes do not lock up (anti) and cause the vehicle to side out.
Most likely you do not have anti-lock brakes in your vehicle. Other possible answer is that your anti-lock brakes are malfunctioning. If you have anti-lock brakes you should see a mechanic as soon as possible.
yes you can of you were asking "can you feel anti lock brakes pulsating" not sure why
Disc brakes in the front, drum brakes in the rear. Anti-lock brakes were optional.
(Anti-lock needs a hyphen.)My new anti-lock brakes failed. The car had anti-lock brakes for better stopping ability.
mine only has rear anti lock brakes!
They're both essentially the same BUT... In standard braking, when you step on the brake-pedal, the brake shoes grip the wheel until you take your foot off. With anti-lock brakes there is a small 'computer' which applies and releases the brakes many times a second while your pressing the pedal. This 'apply and release' happens so fast, the driver doesn't notice anything different.
