12 volts to hold open the shut-down solenoid
The fuel pump has a check valve that holds the fuel pressure. The sending unit monitors the fuel level in the fuel tank.
The fuel pressure regulator is bad, one or more fuel injectors is leaking or the check valve in the fuel pump is faulty.
you should have a service valve located on the fuel rail on top of the engine. unscrew the plastic cap and hold a rag over it and depress the valve stem. good luck, Phil's Auto
because the inlet valve has to hold back pressure from the gas pump where as the exhaust valve has nothing to hold back but the compression of the ignited fuel and such a force is applied at the face of the valve. the face of the valve is in the cylinder so the force is a push not a pull meaning a bigger exhaust valve is not needed because the valve dose not have to fight back to keep it's self closed.

and breakers that can only hold up to 250 volts
on the left side of the air intake/throttle body. there are two screw that hold it in. I t sits right behind the fuel control valve.
I have a 2000 silverado and it takes three times of turning the key before it will start. I recently worked at ROUSH Racing and the mechanic told me the problem was the check valve on the fule tank. He said the check valve was located on the top of the fuel tank and you need to drop the fuel tank to replace it. I had an estimate at a dealer and they said $500.00 to fix it. I have not yet had it fixed because of the pice tag and the location of the valve.
Sure. Electricity can hold any amount of electricity.
20000 volts
The part where you hold on to the horn is the valve casing. The valves are inside of that.
