To become a physician it take four years as a full-time student for The Bachelor's degree with all prerequisite coursework completed, and four years of medical school. There will be also an additional three or more years to complete the internship and residency requirements depending on the specialty. Thus, most students go directly from the bachelor's degree to medical school.
