If you want to attend music production school, then you will want to study hard. It is difficult in some aspects because you are required to learn the specifics of production.
While there is no straight requirements of schooling to become a music producer, you might want to enroll in a art vocational school or an undergraduate school with a major in music. Otherwise, you can consider applying to be an internship at different music producing firms and shadow real music producers to gain knowledge in the field.
