Greek philosophy might have flown among ancient societies for many more years.
1. empire would very likely have been kept cohensive
2. knowledge from ancient Greeks would have had more chance to spread to the rest of the world.
Had Alexander the great never been born , his brother Philip III would have taken power after his father King Philip of Macedonia died . He would have been brought to power at the same time , and similar political goals ( the defeat of Persia ) . It is extremely unlikely that he would have attempted a conquest of India ( like Alexander the great did ) . Alexander The Great died of a tropical disease caught in India , but it is impossible his brother would have caught this as he didn't even travel to India . This would mean no civil war , no Seleucid empire , and he would probably have a child who would lead after him . Those in Eurasia and the Arab peninsula were nomads , and would pose no threat to the empire , and no reason to expand in these directions . Although having no major cities , strategic impact or being of any help to the Empire , The Balkan peninsula would have been a high target as the Illyrian Empire would likely attack them . Furthermore they were extremely uncivilised and their ancient religion needed sacrifices of human beings in gruesome fashions . It was preferred to sacrifice those from other tribes , which would not please the Macedonians . Thrace and Dacia would likely be left alone , to expand north .
A more advantageous area of land to earn was the North African coastline , easily accessible from Egypt . Egyptians would settle down as Macedonian rule would be much better then Persian , and other groups would feel the same way , leaving a Persian revolt to be heavily opposed . As its ally Sparta was on Sicily , it could expand there , & the Peloponnesian league left the 2 nations functioning as one when it came to external issues such as war . Its largest obstacle would have been the Roman Empire , but due to sheer size , the Romans would loose , and possibly be attacked before they were ready for war . It is difficult to predict how far west along the African coast they would have settled , or if they would have expanded into northern Europe , but as time progressed , Dacia and Thrace as well as the Caucasus would be an inevitable target .

Alexander the great made the largest empire known to the world by captureing most of Asia and some of Europe he died in babylonia on his conquest.
As the Greek world was taken over by the Roman Empire, nothing much would have changed.

Alexander III of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia also known as Alexander the Great.
Alexander the Great did not wear shoes, he wore sandals. Fortune favors the bold, baby!
no, he would kill them one by one and sometimes he would let people go then kill them
Alexander The Great was probably good, because he tried to make all the land he conquered live in peace, but that didn't happen. Considering he is called 'the great' I would assume not.
That would be Alexander the Great.
