256 should do it.
Windows Vista comes standard with the purchase of a new computer. It is included in the purchase price of the computer and is not something you'll need to buy separately.
legally no. illegally yes.
Yes, but much slower than it would run Windows XP or a Linux distribution. Make sure your computer has at least 1GB of RAM to run Vista decently.
Then you should have twice as much RAM. But you still have too little for Windows Vista...
No, Windows 7 was actually made , because Vista had to much lags. So Windows 7 basically fixed all those lags in the Vista system.
20-40GB depending on version. https://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/get/system-requirements.aspx
Windows vista comes installed in many new computers. The troubled operating system has come under much scrutiny. The general consences is that you will not be asked to pay if the system comes already installed on your computer but to upgrade will cost you.
windows 8 runs great on 3gb , so 2gb would be the minimum.
Go no less than 1gb for vista.
Yes you can do this, by networking between windows vista and windows xp. Note: This type facility is available via terminal server. Terminal server is available in Win server 2000, 2003, 2008. That said, there are other options than Microsoft's Terminal Server. The simplest method would be to use any type of Virtual Network Computing software (VNC, which comes in many flavors, most of them free), which allows you to effectively "transfer" one computer's screen, mouse and keyboard to another computer; in other words, you can work remotely on another computer, (almost) as if you were sitting in front of it. The only disadvantage is, that what you see on the remote computer is the same session as the local one. In other words, only one person can effectively work on this machine, either locally or remotely, but not both - because both see exactly the same things happening on the screen... There are other terminal platforms, like Citrix etc., but they are rather expensive and don't make much sense in case of a Vista host.
Windows 7 is basically the same OS as Vista but much improved... so it won't make any difference!!
The maximum amount of RAM supported by Vista is 128 Gb (Ultimate, Enterprise and Business).
