A normal single cheeseburger at McDonald's costs 89 cents. The better deal is the double cheeseburgers which is 99 cents; you get twice the burger for 10 more cents.

A McDonalds hamburger cost 15 cents in 1963. It remained that cost through much of the 1960's. Fries were also 15 cents.

One Euro is equal to $1.41 (or so, as the exchange rate fluxuates daily) So you would be paying $1.41 USD for a hamburger in Belgium,that you can get for half that price in the US... Europe is expensive....
In 1963, a McDonalds hamburger would cost you 15 cents! It didn't change until 5 years later, in 1968 when it went up 3 cents to 18.
