I knew a male Himalayan Brown Bear, he was always way stoned, so i would say he 'way'ed pretty frequently

Well they are both bears:) Polar Bears are actually black! It's just were they live that makes them look white. You will have to do more resarch. It's been a while since I read anything about them. Sorry I wasn't much help
Normally, no. Human is not on the menu for brown bears. Actually brown bears are omnivores and they get most of their protein from salmon. They eat a lot of berries, grasses, roots, etc. and get much of their dietary nutrition from the aforementioned berries, grasses, roots, etc. Brown bear attacks on humans are not common, but they do occur. While there are several well documented cases of brown bears attacking and eating humans in recent years, most brown bear attacks are motivated by surprise or curiosity rather than hunger. Pepper spray and firearms (in that order) are most often recommended as protection when traveling in areas frequented by brown bears.
