no it will not work at all
One squarer of cedar (100 square feet) weights about 90 pounds for the cedar it's self.
Roofing on Mobile homes appears to be very much the same as on a regular house. I've seen 4-5 done and they do it exactly the same way. -Mine has a 'duroid tile' roof, my neighbor has a metal sheet roof (very expensive, but more long lasting) another neighbor (old logger) did his own cedar shake roof. So I would imagine that doing a vinyl roof would be the same as on a regular home.
High Treason!!
Roof coating is very expensive. Depending on the brand you buy, it can cost anywhere from $100 to $200.
A roof that is 10 x 20 has an area of 200 square feet. The cost to have this size roof shingled is approximately 1,800.00.
When asphalt shingles were first used, it was done all the time. The problem is that the shingles will not lay flat which give the roof an uneven appearance and makes them much easier to puncture by walking on them or with hail. No one does this anymore, strip off the cedar and put plywood or OSB over the space sheathing. More work and expense, but worth it in the long run.
Poplar.
Three-fity.
Uh, do you mean how much does it cost to insulate a Belgian roof? Or is there some special insulation that comes with Strawberries and Whipped Cream? Furthermore, what kind of insulation?
