All dogs and puppies should be dewormed. Make an appointment with your Veterinarian for a health check up. Bring in a small sample of the dog's fecal, get a small sample from a 2 day period and bring that with you. It will be tested for presence of worm eggs to tell the Vet what types of worms your dog may have. Sometimes the eggs don't always show up in the stool sample. The Vet should deworm anyway for presence of roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms too. The Veterinarian will explain things to you and you get a good check up at the same time.
I think the two ounce bottle of Strongent (dewormer) at my vet is $13. It is the best thing to use...over the counter stuff doesnt always work
To deworm a horse on your own, it costs around $15 every 6 to 8 weeks.
$20 or more, or maybe even less.

You can't
You should never use gunpowder to deworm cats. This is dangerous and often fatal. Since no one product can eliminate all parasitic worms, it's best to take your cat to the vet to determine what kind of worms are present.
at the store, you have to first buy the preventative deworm and then on the horses page there is an option to give a flu shot or deworm...
they cost bestween $600 to $700 depending on which breeeder you choose....
