That depends on what you're looking for in a paint job and what condition the vehicle body is in. Last summer ('07), I painted my Service Truck. I did 100% of all of it, including the body work which had considerable amounts of rust and needed panels welded in. The total came to just over $400.00. I used a single color, single stage paint. In '05 I had my Firebird painted by a 'pro' shop. Multi-colored and clear-coated with some extras added for a more intense pearl effect. They also did all of the body work. Total price: $4300.00. Make sure you get at least 3 estimates if you're going the pro route. My 3 varied by more than $1000.00! If you do it yourself, get a book that describes everything you'll need first. There's a lot equipment to buy before you can 'shoot your own'. Hope this helps. BcB
A do it yourself job can be as cheap as $50, you need a lot of skill to do that. But if you want it professionally done, a simple artwork job costs $500-$15,000 and that is just the artwork. If you want clearcoat protection ect. its costs can skyrocket up to $50,000 for a really good job.
For Example, repaint Honda Civic.
It can cost anywhere from $239 to $10,000 depending on a number of factors.
Quality of paint, clear coat, different colors/details, etc..If you want a decent paint job, one color, with a clear coat, I would guess your looking at anywhere from 500-1000.
Check out Maaco or local paint/autoshops. Call around or Google it.
Good luck
500-1000 for a "nothing special" maaco paint job, 4,000-6,000 for a "as good factory", 15,000-20,000 for "show quality". Really depends on alot of didn't things, For example: Do they need to do body work, dents? How much prep work it needs, is it a Fiat 500 or an "jacked up"excurions, convertible? Type of paint(candy apple for example, metallics, etc are more), # of layers paint layers more cost more, #clear coats$$ My cousin 15yrs ago spend 12G's on a black vette( black is the hardest to look good) had about 5layers of paint and looked like about 10 of clear. You swear you could put your hand it, like liquid/wet.
it all depends on where your from, what color and if there going to blend the hood into the fenders.
typical painters hourly rates are around 48 dollars an hour, so it could be around 300-400
A professional paint job for a hood will generally run between $600-1000.
about 20£
It should be under the hood of the car.
depends, whole car? anywhere from 2,500, to 40,000. like a hood or something, just a few hundred.
You mean like vandalism kinda paint or remove the paint to repaint the hood? You could try using a buffer and rubbing compound to remove the first. The second all you need to do is scuff the shiny off the hood. It will turn a whitish color then you can repaint it. Hope this helps.
To Paint a car red will be expensive. Red is the most expensive automotive color paint.
Unless you have the proper equiptment, and expertise do not attempt to paint the hood yourself or you will be sorely dissapointed in the results. Remove the hood and take it to a trusted body shop and let them professionally paint it for you.
100 pound
it depends how much gals do u get..
about 20 dollars to buy it
Pint should do it
Well, some idiots in my neighborhood sprayed my truck and my girlfriend's car. It pretty much ate through her clear coat and her paint looks like crap now. Mine had a tougher finish, however a few months later and I'm noticing spots where my paint is actually flaking off of my hood. My truck is fairly new too.
No, the hood is ON the car, not in it.
