if its the exact same motor from the years 92-95 it will fit in without any further modifications. if its a different motor within those years there may be minor modifications that need to be done, such as the O2 sensor wiring. some civics use the 4-wire and some 1 and 2 wires. also you should get the corresponding ECU(car computer) for that engine. for example if you have an civic EX, the engine is a D16Z6, you will need the corresponding ECU which has the code of P28. other engines from other year civics and integras will fit into your 94 civic also. the level of difficulty will fluctuate with the specific engine you have selected. also the number of modifications you will have to do will also depend on what type of motor you put in. but if you are putting in a 95 EX motor into you 94 EX civic, it will fit right in.
yes, im guessing its a stock d series engine. if both had vtec you will ned minor modifications and if the new engine has vtec where as the 95 did not, you will need a new computer/ wire harness. motor mounts will be the same as well
