If you want to tame him, wait 2 days for it to get used to its new home. Next you can put your hand in the cage and wait for him to walk on it. He will probobly run off. Continue doing this every day till you are able to lift him up off the ground without him jumping. Now, you can feed him treats off your hand. DO NOT SHOVE THEM IN HIS FACE!!
If you want her to come to you, go into the bath tub with her. (Make sure she is tamed!) Next, say her name and pick her up and lay her in front of you. Do this 10 minutes every day till she comes as soon as you say her name.
Either a run around ball or exercise wheel. A hamster knows how much exercise they need and will guide themselves. Don't stress about it just make sre they have a wheel and/or ball and plenty of fresh water to drink.
It depends what type of hamster you have but on average you should feed you're hamster 2 table spoons a day.
12 hours a day and 7 days a week and 28/29/30/31 days a month and 365 and 1/4 days a year
Hi, this is Collin Potter
Wild Hamsters run 4-7 kilometers a night so they should get about 2-3 miles a day.
The only real 'traning' it needs is to become accustomed to being handled by people, which does not normally take long.
Your hamster doesn't need to go in the ball everyday , If your hamster has an exercise wheel then you can put them in the ball when you want to. I have 2 hamsters and they both have hamster balls and i only put them in it 3 times a week at the most :)
dwarf hamsters need the same bedding as normal hamsters which is straw or shavings which you can get in a pet shop.
Yes. But hamsters also need grains.
Hamsters need salt for the same reason we do, without it our nervous system could not function. It is not mandatory to have a salt lick or salt wheel for your hamster but it would be a good idea. Hamsters live in the wild where they get their minerals from plants and stuff. Hamsters can't always get minerals and the salt they need in their cage that's why its a good idea to get a salt lick or something for your hamster.
who actually cares I need a better answer
yes they still need exercise
Exercise wheels.
well in the summer i make a run that i put my guinea pigs in and they exercise for about 5 hours each day at the weekends. But when i'm working they are in their run for about 1-2 hours when i get home. I hope this helps.
It is bad for a hamster to not have a wheel. Hamsters need their exercise or else they can die.
No. a ferret does not need any exercise wheels, I don't believe they make any for ferrets - they are not rodents. They make exercise wheels for rodents - like mice, rats, hamsters, etc.
Well, hamsters need exercise, but they usually do that by running on a wheel if you have one. But if you have a guinea pig they have to run around outside, not in a wheel or a ball because it could cause back problems. Your welcome!

of course food, a wheel for exercise, mulch or dirt or some kind of substance for it to poop on, and i forgot water. maybe a toy or 2.
They love to exercise. Since they are nocturnal they will exercise mostly at night. They also like to run around in tubes of the cage at night if there are any.

Running on the hamster wheel, hands down
Yes but they will have to learn to work together.
