How much hp do you get out of stock aluminum heads from a 1988 Corvette they've been machine to fit 202 160 valves and been party ported on the intake side?
How much hp does 88 Chevy corvette have?
What type of camshaft and heads will you be able to use on a 1988 350 040 with a 3.750 crank with rods clearanced to a 600 lift?
If you want a stocker, you could use cast iron heads with 1.94 intake/1.60 exhaust valves. For your camshaft, you could use 423"intake/446"exhaust...Nothing special. If you want a little more performance, something that will turn heads,a weekend racer,or to seek and destroy rice burners, step up to cast iron or aluminum 2.02 intake/1.60 exhaust heads. For your camshaft, you could use a 498"intake/498"exhaust rough idle roller camshaft, with roller lifters. For race/competition,you could use ported and polished aluminum heads with 2.08 intake/1.60 exhaust. For your camshaft, you…
Is a sealed or ported box better for kicker comp subs and would a 1000 watt pyle amp be good for these subs?
turbocharger or motor swap is the most effective way, but expensive. otherwise you can just do the basics with a cold air intake, headers, full exhaust. this is cheapest. but you can also put on a bigger throttle body, aftermarket intake manifold, get the cylinder head ported, install a lighter cam, get your ecu chipped and tuned, or just build the whole motor.
I wouldn't recommend a ported box for this sub as the qts is higher than .6, i would use 1.6-2 cu.ft sealed and stuffed with poly-fil, or go infinite baffle. The only reason why the manufacturer says it can be used and sealed and ported is because of marketing, a ported enclosure would most likely over bloat the low end and cause a frequency hump down low
When referring to subwoofer enclosures, ported and vented are the same thing, as opposed to a sealed box. Sealed boxes are said to provide a harder "hit" and better sound quality but may not sound as loud as a ported box. Neither type of box is particularly "better" than the other, so the choice is between SQ (sound quality) of a sealed box vs. the louder but slightly poorer sound of a ported box. Hope…
How do you hook up vacuum lines on a 84 Chevrolet c20 egr equipped has a edlebrock performer intake manifold and a 600 carburetor?
The brake booster runs to the large port in the rear of the carb or you can tap into one of the intake runners. You may have to T off some vacuum lines as the 600 carb probably won't have enough to run everything. There are fittings that will screw into the large rear port of the carb that have 2, 3, or 4 smaller Ts for running all this. Manifold vacuum will be any…
302 Ford bored 30 over with flat top pistons a mild cam 50cc closed chambered heads 4 barrel carb and intake want to know how much horsepower?
m50 engines do not have a pcv valve. they have a oil separator system in which reduces oil flow through the intake manifold. its a fitting on the front drivers side of the valve cover, it had two hoses vacuum hoses connected to it one is ported vacuum and the other is unported. (in back of and front of the throttle plate).
A true high level language (HLL) provides abstraction from the hardware's implementation, so by definition, a HLL must be machine independent. In practice, this means that every HLL depends on an abstraction layer that must be "ported" to a given hardware class before the HLL will execute on it. Some do this by means of a Virtual Machine (such as Java), while others achieve it by "just-in-time" compilation, such as Perl and .NET (specifically, the…
It all depends on how much you want. engine programmer can be a good bang for the buck cold air intake under drive pullies or replacing clutch fan with a electric fan tri-y or full length 4 into 1, shorties are a waste cat back exhaust, but newer cars don't pick up as much as older cars from there on it gets expensive, involved.... turboes superchargers cam/intake/rr ported heads/hi-po heads stroker kits
