All U.S. coins have the word LIBERTY on them.

Most coins in 1930 also had a picture of Miss Liberty, too.

NO U.S. coins used a P mint mark in 1930.

So, please re-check your coin and post a new question with enough details to identify it.

What is a quarter worth with miss liberty on it?

All quarters minted up till 1930 had a picture of Miss Liberty. Please post a new question with the coin's date and whether it has a mint mark: > Standing Liberty design - to the left of Miss Liberty's foot (not the "M" on the right; that's the designer's monogram) > All others - on the back under the eagle or wreath.

What is an 1878 liberty half dollar with an R mark worth?

There's no "R" mint mark. The mint mark position on a Seated Liberty half should be below the eagle. If the "R" is elsewhere your coin has been altered and has lost most of its collector value. If the R is where the mint mark should be please check it with a good magnifying glass. There's more information at the Related Question.
