Many factors are considered when rendering a value of a DLP TV. Bulb life, as some bulbs cost hundreds to replace. Screen wear, box wear and internal circuitry may all be examined. I own the same 3D ready unit as you and love it. I paid 2,200 when it was new. I've replaced 1 bulb so far and it was covered by warranty. I've owned the tv for 4 years now. I value mine (very good condition) at $1000. I have seen them sell on Craigslist and eBay from $698-$1600. Low range is used, high end is New in Box... Hope that helps! Don't go to a pawn shop! They will probably offer you $100 because pawn shops are crooked, shady operations who make their money by screwing the people they claim to be helping. Truth is they are a business that operates solely off the misfortune of people. When people need money, they need money. They don't need places to rob then blind because the economy sucks. Take in a $500 shotgun (only fired 7 shells) perfectly cleaned and they will look on Craigslist to see what the lowest price of one there is to get the value. Then they subtract 25% and assess a fair market value. Then they will only pay you 10-50% of the fair market value so they can sell your merchandise and make a killing doing so! Anyway $500 shotgun, cheapest price on Craigslist that day was $300. So they establish that as its value. The fair market price is 25% less making it now worth $225 there. Now they will make their loan offer at 10-50% of the $225. I was offered $100 as a loan. I was pissed, so I left with the gun and sold it outright to a gunshop for $400. Proving that good people do exist, just not at Pawn Shops. My goodness I've rambled on for awhile now. That's right, Mitsubishi 73" big screen. Beautiful television. The 3D is top notch and this baby has a 6 color, color wheel! The picture is fabulous for a DLP. Value- $800
