Its located under the dash, just behind the glove compartment. From what I've read, you have to pretty much remove the entire dash to get to it.
The blower motor resistor on a 1993 Nissan Altima is behind the glove compartment on the passenger side of the vehicle. To access the blower motor resistor, the glove compartment can be removed by lowering the bottom as much as possible and removing it from the hinges.
About $350-$400 to have someone do it for you

i worked for Saturn and there is a defect with the 2000 Saturn GL's transmission but it is not documented. this year of Saturn should still under warente if not sorry but your SOL it will cost to much to repair at the dealership and that car is not worth it.
#47 in the glove compartment. yeah your answer really helped in locating the fuse for the cigarette lighter, but to my amazement after changing the fuse and tried out the light it still didnt work please could you advise. thank you very much

Load specs for your vehicle should be in the glove compartment on a sticker, or in the door gap when you open the door.
That is not very likely . Much more possible is a leak in the heater core.
