i worked for Saturn and there is a defect with the 2000 Saturn GL's transmission but it is not documented. this year of Saturn should still under warente if not sorry but your SOL it will cost to much to repair at the dealership and that car is not worth it.

I found no reference to a procedure to adjust the bands for either transaxle in my 1989 factory service manual.
