Remove the ignition module retaining ring. Pull the ignition barrel out. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition barrel. Reverse the process to install the new ignition module.
Worn key or barrel, do you have a new key you can try it with ? If it still doesn't turn properly you got a worn ignition barrel that has to be replaced

Undo the chrome ring at the front of the ignition, the ignition switch assembly can then be removed from the back of the dash. Unplug the lead in the back remove the ignition switch & throw it in the bin. You could try drilling the barrel out, it would probably be best to buy a complete new assembly, you wont get the old barrel out without a key. You will also need new door locks.

Do you have the original ignition key?? Tape the old ignition key to the cowling around the ignition, then put new key in the ignition and see if it will run. The reason for this is there is a transponder chip in the old key that needs to be picked up by the rim module around the ignition barrel. If it works, take keys apart and swap transponder chip .
