A growl or rumble that changes pitch when you turn left or right would be a wheel bearing going bad. A bad strut would allow that corner of the car to bounce too much.
The main two problems caused on Mount Everest by too much climbing is rubbish being left and possible errosion to the routes.
You'll need a coil spring compressor. Jack up the rear end. Remove rear tire. Open the rear trunk - remove rubber cover / locate the "three" mounting bolts to the assemby. Remove lower mounting bolt on strut. Remove strut assembly -caution ... it's under a lot of pressure from the coil spring. Remove the OLD strut from the assembly. To replace the new strut, you'll need to compress the coil spring as much as possible. Re-assemble the strut to the mounting hardware. Push the "three bolt" assembly through the trunk mount and tighten. Re-attach the lower mounting bolt to the strut. Be advised "under a lot of pressure from the coil spring." Is a serious understatement. You need a special tool to compress this strut and attempting to disassemble strut without the tool locking it in could result in SERIOUS injury or even death.
Yes they do, they love the grass so much that they could jump off mount everest to get it. They dream about it and they always make the females happy when they strut over with a crap tonne of grass in their mouth going "hay baby!"
it takes 5-6 hours to do all the motor mounts
The front wheels take struts $80 to $150 per wheel and rear wheels take shocks $30-$70 per wheel. Price depends on the features/performance wanted where the lower cost is closer to OEM equipment. When replacing the front struts, replace the strut mounts as these are known to go bad, $50 per wheel. Labor ~ $80-100 per wheel for replacing strut mount and strut on front or shock on rear.
When climbers descend from the high camps they are usually very tired and dont have much energy. This is why litter is left on the mountain. Today, there are dedicated climbing teams who bring down the rubbish left by others, making Mount Everest a cleaner mountain.
I would want to sat 3, because you have th left motor mount, the right motor mount and then the rear motor mount which is located pretty much in the back of motor at the bottom of the car in the center
Usually about $40-50
About 2 grand (CDN) for a front and rear strut replacement.Too much for me.
Why don't you ask a mechanic?
