ok if you cosign you are saying you will pay if the other person does not pay I would have the whole care payment in a seprate account so that way if they defaulf you can pay it off and have a lawyer draw up papers stating that if they default on their loan and you must pay you eather keep the car or they pay you back what they dint pay befor you give them the car back.
