On a zr2 model you will need around 10" in the front, 9" in rear. For regular model s10 4x4 you will need about 13" in the front and 12" in rear.

yes you can run 35inch tire as long as you put them on an 8inch rim. i have that size on my 1999 dodge ram 1500 4 door.
i doubt it. you might need a 2" to 3" body lift in order to have 35" tires, if you don't you would be cutting pretty darn close to fitting, a lot of rubbing will be going on.
You will have to pull of both front wheels. drop the tie rods. un bolt the rack from the frame of your Durango and pop it out. Its not that difficult its just alot of work. i did it on my 2000 durango 4x4 then i put it up on a 6 inch lift with 40 inch tires
