I don't know about the other branches, but, if you enlist in the Army after having been an Eagle Scout, you enter as a Private First Class (pay grade E-3), with a base pay rate of $1730/month.
Yes, they pretty much all do. The President of the United States is traditionally the honorary President of the BSA and in this capacity signs the Eagle Scout certificates.
There are many advantages to earning the Eagle Scout rank including the skills learned, the leadership learned, and the general demonstration to yourself and everyrone else that you can commit to a long term extraordinarily difficult task and get it doneThe main advantage to being an Eagle Scout, other than that you possess all of the above, is that people generally understand that it is a great achievement accomplished by very few. I can think of nothing esle that can be accomplished before the age of 18 that will still be listed and discussed into adulthood. You will never see "captain of the HS football team" on the resume of a 50 year old man applying to be CEO of a large corporation but if he is an Eagle Scout it will be there, it will be noted, and it will often be the difference between that guy and all the others with similar education and experience.
There are several ranks in Boyscouts. First is Scout, which is very easily earned and requires that you just memorize the scout oath, law, slogan, motto, and a couple of other things. Next is Tenderfoot, which requires that you learn some outdoor skills. Second Class requires more outdoor skills as does First Class. Then the Star and Life ranks require that you do more leadership. And Eagle is the ultimate rank of scouting, which is only reached by some scouts. It requires much work and merit badges and it is also hard to attain because many scout run out of time since they can not do any rank advancement when they become 18 years of age.
No, the eagle is much more powerful.
Not "eagle head" - it shows the entire eagle so these are known as Flying Eagle cents. See the Related Question for more.
Since an eagle is bigger than a birdie I believe that's how it got its name. Even though an eagle is a lower score it is a much more valuable score.
Aunt Alexandra feels that Scout should conform to traditional gender roles and be more ladylike. She is critical of Scout's tomboyish behavior and unconventional interests, believing that it reflects poorly on their family's reputation. Alexandra also disapproves of Scout's close relationship with Calpurnia and the influence she has on Scout.
Personally I think the anaconda because it's body is 100 times then a bald eagle, but the eagle can fly. The anaconda also is more violent , but really the anaconda is much stronger.
the time to honor the military is on fout=rth of July , memorial day and much more...
If you join the military then how much money you get paid depends on what rank you are. The higher the rank the more you get paid.
The amount varies depending on what kind of scout you want to be.
They could, because they are much larger, but normally they coexist peacefully.
