Remove 2 screws holding cup holder, then remove cup holder. Remove 2 screws holding ashtray, then remove ashtray. Then slowly work the beazel out, will need to tilt steering wheel all the way down and unplu cig. lighter and power source once bezel is out far enough. Then the light switch is 2 or 3 screws. Really not bad. Should not take more than about 20-30min and that is working slow.
take it out then replace it

you can't. You have to replace the whole headlight assembly, it doesn't come apart. check the junk yards or eBay it's cheaper.
Open the hood. On top of the headlight assemblies, there's a curved metal rod. Pull that out, and you can pull the headlight assembly right out. From there, you turn the bulb ballasts counterclockwise and pull them out, and you can either replace the bulbs at that point, or the whole headlight assembly if necessary.

The 1984 Toyota pickup truck headlight relay switch can be found in the fuse box. The headlight relay switch will be at the top of the third column.
The headlight relay on a 1989 Toyota pickup is located on the right side of the engine compartment. There is a fuse box on the right-hand side fender wall. The headlight relay is in this fuse box.
There is no access panel. The tank has to be removed to replace the pump.
It may be more difficult to remove the bed than to drop the tank.
