It will say on the crankcase 2500cc's which is about 2 and half litres of oil. If also changing the filter add about 300ccs more. There is also a oil window that you can look at to see the oil level when on its center stand.
A Yamaha Maxim 650 motorcycle has a 4-cylinder engine. The Yamaha Maxim 650 will hold 3.1 quarts or 2.65 milliliters of oil with the oil filter attached.
Mine uses air....
what should i do if my engine oil go,s black in my bmw 520d
20/50
I use 20w- 50 non detergent oil for motorcycles in hot weather and 10w-40 The Maxim holds 3.7 quarts when you change the filter which I recommend highly.
I have a 650 yam maxim shaft drive. I forget the ml amount but it measured out to be 21/2 quarts of oil exactly for the crank case oil. I'm having trouble compressing the front break cylinder for new pads.
waste oil is oil that gets dumped in the ocean, its pollution whether its and accident or in purpose. Filters are special filters that the oil gos through so it can get a bit "clean."
on my 1982 maxim 550, the oil fill cap is the little cap right above your rear brake. The oil filter looks liek its in the front bottom area, just un bolt that to drain, and unscrew the cap by the brake to fill.

I just posted this question in "Yamaha Motorcycle Forum" for my '82 Maxim and was told 3.7 quarts (not sure if this is with the filter or not). I heard the capacity is stamped below the filler cap. ..... The oil amount is stamped below the oil cap... in milliliters. On my 750 maxim, this is 2500milliliters, or 2.5 liters. Motorcycle oil generally come in liter bottles (which is close to a quart anyway) so it takes around two and a half liter bottles to fill. This is including the oil filter. You can always check the oil level by putting the bike on it's showstand (not the kickstand) and looking through the oil glass located next to the brake pedal.
I would guess that you have carb. problems like stuck floats allot of times gas in the oil is caused by flooding the cylinder and the fuel gos by the rings into the oil. Hope this helps.
a small round window rigt next to the back brake lever
