The entire system takes about 8 oz. That is spread out thru all the components. If a hose didn't blow where you would lose alot of oil and you are just replacing the compressor, I would add 3 oz to the pump during installion.
Add 4 to 5 ounces of oil into the a/c compressor and then prime it on the bench before you install it.........
9 oz
8oz.
In the oil pan
The oil capacity of a 1995 Chevy S10 V6 4.3L is 4.5 quarts when the oil filter is also changed. Oil levels should be checked with the dip stick to verify levels.
Drain oil from oil pan, remove oil filter through access door unde raditator.
This is an oiless compressor; it requires no oil at all.
It depends on the climate you live in. Check the drivers manual for that info.
150 ml of oil for sanden trs 090.
OK there are two ways to change the oil pump on a 1995 Chevrolet s10 2.2L. Because A cross member is made to the frame right under the oil pan you will haft to either take the engine out or take out the motor mounts and jack the motor up for clearence to get to the oil pan its self.
If the system didn't blow a hose and you are only replacing the compressor, I would add 3 ounces of oil to the new compressor through the suction port and turn the comp by hand several revolutions to pump it through.
changing ac compressor only, how much oil do i add 2.7 Toyota tacoma 1999.... 6 ounces
Look on the side of the compressor and it tells you how much oil is required for a dry compressor. Mine said 6 1/2 ounces. But you also have to know what weight oil to use. That is described as viscosity, medium or low viscosity.
