4 quarts
Tube inside left side cover
it depends on the model of bike it could be on the oil bag or on the bottom of the trans
Under the transmission oil reservoir, across from the oil drain plug and on the braking side of the bike. (from bottom of the bike the transmission drain plug will always be on the braking side of the bike. The oil drain plug on the shifting side.)
Drain plug is on the bottom of the oil reserve under the right side cover... same oil reserve that has the oil (dipstick) in it. It does not get all the oil but most of it. Harley uses a pump and used the oil lines to flush the motor but ya get most of it thru the reserve and the (old) lines can be fragile and may need replacement.
First remove the drain plug from the chain case. While it is draining, remove the torx bits from the access panel. Once the oil has drained completely, reinstall the drain plug. Fill the chain case using a funnel with one quart of oil. Reinstall the access cover while using a new gasket.
Just remove the drain plug.
The correct answer is 3.5 quarts.
Drain out the excess. Too much oil will damage the engine.
You drain the engine oil from the drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan.You drain the engine oil from the drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan.
Maybe you have no oil! Check the oil level. If there is oil in it and it won't drain, you may have serious problems. Try poking a scewdriver in to drain hole might be clgged with gunk. It also helps to warm up the engine before draining the oil which will help it drain much better. also take caution since you could get burned!
Drain some out. It is bad to have too much oil.
