4,000 PSI working pressure
Yes
Simple answer is it can't. Possible reasons for what you are seeing are: 1. Broken or inaccurate pressure gauges. - Most likely 2. If there is a check valve before the hose bib and there is a hose attached and full of water and that hose is in the hot sun, it might build up pressure. This pressure would instantly equalize as soon as you spray water.
What size nozzles? What is the GPM rating What is the available pressure What lenght of the hose (fricton losses)
i believe the pressure does not change but the volume of water you will be able to use will be less
You have air getting into the water somewhere, go down and make sure every hose and fitting is tight.
The space of the hose gets tighter, because their is so much water wanting to come out
Can you be specific? If you mean a garden hose, then basically water is let into the hose and pressure forces the water out.
Yes
Pressure builds within the hose and water shoots out farther and with higher pressure... Think showerhead....
You can run water uphill with a garden hose by decreasing the size of the hose as it moves away from the water source. By decreasing the hose size, pressure in the hose increases and the water will travel uphill.
Because - the pressure of the water inside the hose provides counter-pressure, making the hose more difficult to bend.
It will be the same pressure that burst the silicon radiator hose whether you use water or air to burst it. The difference is probably the hose is designed for use with pressured water or use with compressed air.
The Pressure exerting against the stream (on the end of the Hose opening) is 14+ pounds per square inch in Air, and 64 pounds per square inch in water. So the water in the bucket exerts a greater "Opposing Pressure" against the hose opening. This reduces the effective water pressure as the water exits the hose. If you had a Deep enough Bucket, the flow out of the hose would potentially stop, when the pressures were equal and opposite.
Go to Home Depot and get a pressure guage the will screw on your water hose faucet.
Water pressure from a garden hose is sufficient.
Under normal circumstances it will have some pressure just less than the bottom hose. The bottom hose is directly pressurized by the water pump while the upper hose acts as a return hose to keep the water flowing through the engine block. If there is no pressure you could be low on radiator fluid (water/anti freeze mixed) or have a thermostat stuck open.
