One of the biggest scams out there if you ask me are brake jobs. Odds are you just need pads. They will say you need to "shave the rotors" or may even need new ones. Even if the rotors have a minor groove it is only going to cause the pad to wear slightly quicker. In saying that, pads cost about $30 bucks and he should charge no more than $75 - $100 to put them on. $100 - $150 total. I always bought the pads myself and went to a small mechanic who has been in business for a good period of time and asked if he would do them at his convenience and I would pay $75 in cash. It works, because it takes them like 25 minutes to do the job. Good luck man and trust me I am right about this.

The dealer most likely didn't check the brakes. If you don't have a warranty that covers brakes, you will be paying for them.
If the the brakes replace from a dealer for the front brakes including re-surfacing the rotor disc is.......$420.00
The dealer will know how to access the codes for the brakes. When that is fixed it should not lock up then.
For front brakes expect anywhere between about $90.00 to $1,400.00 depending on the work needed and parts used.

Take your title and ID into the ford dealer and they should give you a code
try to contact another dealer, or the FORD company itself. The dealer should be able to reprogam it no matter what.
