Base-Coat Clear-Coat (Two-Stage) Paints cost more than single-stage (Acrylic Enamel or Urethane). Also some colors such as Reds and Yellows are more expensive also. A very quick "mask/prep/paint" job on a tractor could be performed for as little as $2800 on day cabs. But expect to pay up around the $10,000 range if disassembly is required and you want to use base-coat clear-coat.
