one quart is enough to lube everything up.
NO....
The stator inside the torque converter directs the fluid at an angle to trans. part of the torque converter amplifying the force on the vanes.
It takes a total of 5qts. However if you just drain the fluid out of the pan it's going to be less due to the fact that you would still have about 2qts still in your torque converter
Yes but not all the way. Fluid turns the vanes inside and trans has a pump. It is always circulating.
no
If you drain the Trans. AND Torque Converter you will need 10-12 QTS. of fluid
Low trans fluid,Trans in need of new fluid and filter, bad torque converter,or the tranny's on it's last leg.
bad catalytic converter
Will a 1996 4l60e 4x4 trans fit in pace of a 1995 4l60e 4x4 trans
Yes, so a torque converter simply fit thm 350 trans.
It could be. It could also be a pump seal failure, or a crack in the trans case.
Remove it from the car OR It can be flushed by a knowledgeable person with the correct equipment.
