I drained the transmission, as I had ran over a parking block and damaged the pan. Now I need to refill it and was wondering if anyone knows how many pints it takes, so I don't over-fill it.

Dextron 3 automatic transmission fluid. now known as domestic automatic transmission fluid. Yes it is a manual but they used the same stuff. It just lubricates the needle berrings.
If you are asking about a Saturn L200 it normally requires Dexron III. But you did not list the year so call your local GM or Saturn dealer to make sure.
