That's a bicentennial dollar coin, and it's still worth one dollar. The exception would be if the coin has an S mint mark and is made of 40% silver. These coins were specially struck for collectors and sold in individual packages. They can be worth $5 to $10 depending on quality.
1980 would make it a Susan B. Anthony dollar, and it's still worth one dollar.
