on my 53 vectra you have to unlock all the cr doors ie press remote twice. petrol cap will then open

Could be the wiring between the doors, when you open the doors you will see the rubber bungs housing the wires, pull the bungs out and check that none of the wires are broke,

They are on the front half of the car on both sides above the tires reaching from the front bumper to the doors, up to the hood and down to the frame.
gut the bumper supports, gut the braces out of the doors, get lexan windows, remove the rear seats, get cloth front seats
Well a friend and i had this same problem on a 1992 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the problem was that when she was unlocking her door on the drivers side, it wouldn't turn the alarm off because the theft deteraint system sensor in the key switch had gone bad, so every time she opened the door the alarm went off. So the solution to her problem and posibly yours was to go to the other side and unlock it on that side and it worked for her and hopefully you.
