Interesting brake problem:I have seen in the last ten years or so an issue where the rear brakes still have life in them according to the measurement but they have become so "Glazed" they no longer contribute any real effort to braking causing the front brakes to wear much more quickly. This also increases stopping distance.This is shown by front brake service at 90,000 (or whatever) then 150,000 then 180,000
So have the rear pads done when doing the front and save yourself danger and needless expense.
