15000 miles
Honda recommends changing it at 100,000 miles. I personally recommend you change it every 75,000 miles. The 2003 Honda Accord had problems with the transmission so I would recommend this as a preventative measure.
You can follow the instructions in your owner's manual or change it every 50,000 miles.
The official honda's owner manual 1994-1997 says!, once a year i am no mechanic but if its black & sooty change it. common since read your manual.
You should change your transmission fluid between 125000 km to 150000 km with the filter for an automatic . and the same for a standard without the filter . because there is no filter required for a standard transmission .
This is listed in your owners manual. The change interval depends on if you have the CVT transmission, the 5 speed Automatic, or a Manual. Just open and read your owners manual.
i dont think there is one just a drain and fill. if there is a spring and ball in the drain pay attention to how they come out. i blew my trainy by not putting them in right. Honda Accords do not have transmission fluid filters. That is why they recommend changing the transmission fluid so often. If you can change your own oil, you can change the transmission fluid - it is easy.
100K miles transmission oil flush & change.
How often to change atomatic transmission fliud in a 2003 grande am gt 3.4 liter
Owner's manual. If you don't have one get one. I will say that I would recommend you have the fluid changed at 60,000 miles. "Critical" Use only Honda Transmission Fluid. Also do not forget to replace your cam belt and water pump at 80,000 miles. This car has an interference engine. Serious engine damage WILL occur if the belt breaks. You have been warned. Since Honda Accords do not have transmission fluid filters, you should change the transmission fluid every 15,000-30,000 miles (depending upon your driving conditions). If you can change your own motor oil, you can change your transmission fluid yourself too.
Accord LX dose not have a transmission filter. The only way to keep the transmission clean is to change the fuid more often. Correction: ALL transmissions have filters, Period. Honda doesn't recommend changing it. There's a difference! Do you shower, and put dirty clothes back on?? I don't! I changed mine, on my '99 Honda Accord, dealer said there wasn't one! It's just a round element, under a small cover, on the driver's side, of the tranny.
