Accord LX dose not have a transmission filter. The only way to keep the transmission clean is to change the fuid more often.
Correction: ALL transmissions have filters, Period. Honda doesn't recommend changing it. There's a difference! Do you shower, and put dirty clothes back on?? I don't! I changed mine, on my '99 Honda Accord, dealer said there wasn't one! It's just a round element, under a small cover, on the driver's side, of the tranny.
You don't. It has a lifetime internal filter in the transmission.

Remove the transmission pan on the bottom of the transmission. The filter is mounted to the valve body of the transmission.
