Change the oil & filter every 5,000 miles is my recommendation unless you are using synthetic oil. If that is the case change it every 7,500 miles. Use a quality filter such as Wix, or Purolator, and use the exact weight oil Honda recommends. More than likely 5w20. Look in the owner's manual to be sure or it may be listed on the oil fill cap.
