Puppy mill dogs can live as long as dogs obtained by any other means. However, they are bred and kept in diplorable conditions before they are purchased or adopted. They are often kept in very small, dirty cages. There is a lot of animal abuse associated with puppy mills.

Just in case you didn't catch the hint, what we say is orange chicken is dog. Just saying...

∙ 14y agoNot very long. Some of the newborns die within a few days. The ones who are sold often have health problems and die within their 1st or 2nd years of life.

Most breeders including very reputable breeders will have the puppies tails docked when that are only a couple days old by a veterinarian because it is the breed standard. It has nothing to do with being from a puppy mill
