It very much depends on what you are calling ancient, and in what kind of setting. You might refer to a person as "ancient" who is a spry 80 or 90. If you pull something out of the fridge that you forgot was there, you could call it ancient, but it's not likely that it was there as long as 80 or 90 years. History isn't ancient until you go back roughly two thousand years or so, depending on how you happen to define it.
